Glenn Marshall is sick.

Not to take anything away from one of the best “computational designers” (or whatever) - Robert Hodgin, but this (new?!) guy is bringing some serious heat with his FIRST processing animation. HOT. I’d say he’s off to a good start.

    Sick.

    Time to learn processing.

was the music associated with the math, or was it just an ex-post facto ruh-ruh-ruh REEEEEEEEmicksss(sah)?

    that’s right: i typed that.

Diggity damn. Not sure if it he did it from the music, or just choreographed the algorithms. Judging from flight404’s work with this (http://www.flight404.com/blog/?p=121) radiohead song (also sick), its likely a mixture:

“I manually input each bass beat, snare, highhat, and arpeggio note, not to mention all the vocals and syllable breaks. Crazy! It took about 6 hours but I think it was the right way to do it. I would have wasted much more time than that had I chosen to do the beat detection algorithmically. But man, scrubbing through that track, over and over, marking every note… it was a carpal pain.”
